3 hospitalized in 2 separate early morning DC shootings

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Three people were hospitalized after two separate shootings broke out in D.C. early Sunday morning, police said. The violence comes just hours after a shooting left a man dead in Southeast.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), investigators responded to the first Sunday morning shooting at around 1:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of 15th Street SE.

There, officers reported finding a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Medics transported the pair to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
