ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — A 62-year-old man has died after suffering from a medical emergency in the Arlington County Detention Center early Monday morning, according to the Arlington County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said Tyrone Hines, who was booked in the detention center on July 30, 2025, died at Virginia Hospital Center after deputies found him suffering from a medical emergency inside a cell at around 7:49 a.m.
An emergency call button inside Hines’ cell notified deputies of the emergency, and Arlington County Fire Department officials treated Hines before taking him to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office…
