2027 is bringing new life to a Maryland restaurant space, thanks to a popular area hospitality group. The Woodmont Grill closed its doors in Bethesda after 33 years, but Steve Salis and his Catalogue restaurant group are ensuring the space doesn’t remain idle for long, with plans to open an outpost of the highly successful Ted’s Bulletin concept in the storefront next year, reports Washington Business Journal.
Salis completed the purchase of 7715 Woodmont Avenue on August 17. The 6,300-square-foot space will require a decent amount of work to transform The Woodmont Grill’s longtime home into Ted’s Bulletin’s Maryland flagship location. Kristen Salis, who handles Catalogue’s media relations, was kind enough to confirm the restaurant with What Now DC, saying: “We are excited to be finally joining the Bethesda community! We are in the early stages of design and development but are aiming for a 2027 opening.”
Steve Salis expounded further on the work that will go into this new endeavor, saying “I’m not going to just go in and turn the lights on and change some paint and open up. That’s not what we’re seeking to do. What we’re seeking to do is make it into a modern version of Ted’s.”…
