GAITHERSBURG, Md. — Montgomery County Police are on the scene of a deadly crash involving a Ride On bus in Gaithersburg Friday morning. Roads are closed around the crash scene while police conduct an investigation to learn exactly what happened.
Investigators have released very few details at this time. In a post on social media, Montgomery County Police said officers and firefighters were called to a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a bus on Midcounty Highway just before 5 a.m. The highway is closed at Goshen Road, and Goshen Road is closed at Emory Grove Road. The crash scene is not far from South Lake Elementary School.
