Sprinklers extinguish fire inside Fairfax County shop

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Sprinklers put out a fire that started inside a shop in West Falls Church.

Firefighters with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department responded to a fire alarm on April 28 at around 10:30 p.m. at a strip shopping center in the 7200 block of Arlington Blvd.

There, firefighters saw the fire inside the store. It had been controlled and extinguished by two ceiling sprinklers before it could grow and spread.
