Sioux Falls Dog ‘Slipping Away’ After Being Returned To Shelter

There are many reasons how and why a pet ends up in a shelter. But it’s a different story when a pet is returned to a local shelter. This happened to one Sioux Falls dog, and she’s “losing herself.”

After her new home “wasn’t the right fit,” Junie was returned to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. Ever since then, she’s been waiting for someone to finally keep her.

Junie is hurting inside. She’s so young and shouldn’t be experiencing this type of pain. She feels abandoned. In a new heart-wrenching Facebook post, the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society staff says Junie is experiencing “stress, anxiety, and triggers.”

The shelter is the one place Junie never wanted to return to, and she’s not handling this well…at all…
