Sioux Falls Pawn Shop Connects To Stolen Wedding Ring Case

A wedding ring that went missing at a Nebraska YMCA has led to an arrest after police say the ring was sold at a pawn shop in Sioux Falls.

According to the Norfolk Police, officers were called to the YMCA there on May 27th after a woman reported her wedding ring missing. The woman told staff she believed she accidentally left the ring on a treadmill while working out.

Surveillance footage showed a man finding the ring on a treadmill and leaving with it. He was later identified as 66-year-old Thomas Schaefer of Randolph, Nebraska…
