Federal prosecutors announced they’ve dismantled four major Drug Trafficking Organizations, or DTOs, that have been supplying illegal meth and fentanyl into South Dakota.
Efforts between the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of South Dakota and other federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement partners, has thus far led to charges against over 60 individuals and more than 600 years in federal prison time.
One of the major sentences announced is Quantiae Harris, a Las Vegas man believed to have introduced fentanyl powder to the Sioux Falls area. Prosecutors say fentanyl powder is one of “the most potent, deadly and destructive form of that illicit substance.”…
