SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – People gathered at the Levitt in downtown Sioux Falls for the annual Out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday.
The event brings together people who know someone who has died by suicide and others who want to support them.
“And if you just look around this crowd, that’s what you see. It’s not what we do. It’s what everybody is doing for each other that makes our events so incredibly special,” American Foundation of Suicide Prevention volunteer Janet Harvey said.
