Raising Cane’s plans to open 12 new restaurants in November, nearly doubling the seven it opened in October, Nation’s Restaurant News reported on Oct. 30. The month includes the chain’s debut in three new markets: Brick, New Jersey; Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The remaining November openings are planned in Utah, Michigan, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Alabama, and two in Florida. A company spokesperson called the month “another exciting milestone in Raising Cane’s continued growth.”
For diners, the expansion means a new fast-food option — along with opening-day crowds and giveaways in several communities. For local workers, it means hiring. The Sioux Falls restaurant alone is expected to bring 165 jobs.
