MAURICE—A 29-year-old Rock Rapids man was arrested about 2:40 a.m. near Maurice on charges of first-offense operating while under the influence; driving while barred; and driving while his license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked.
The arrest of Jesus Humberto Mata Jr. stemmed from the stop of a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander clocked at 65 mph on Highway 75 near Maurice, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
