SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Tuesday marked four years since Sioux Falls and surrounding areas were hit by a type of storm we don’t hear much about in South Dakota: a derecho.
By definition, a derecho is a long-lived wind storm with winds over 58 mph, covering as much as 400 miles.
