SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — It’s Open House Weekend at South Dakota State Parks and Recreation Areas. Visits don’t have to pay a park entrance fee and the fishing is free Saturday and Sunday. Camping fees and fishing regulations still apply.
Good Earth State Park southeast of Sioux Falls is hosting a Summer Kick-Off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be musical performances by Blue Moon Rhythm at 10:30 a.m. followed by Amy Ellsworth at 12:30 p.m. There will also be food trucks, a scavenger hunt, games and crafts.
