Man charged with femicide for killing Spokane woman in Cancun

SPOKANE, Wash. — Taylor Duran Allen has been convicted of Femicide and sentenced to 50 years in a Mexican prison for the death of Spokane woman, Sativa Transue, in 2021.

Transue was found dead in a hotel room in Cancun over Thanksgiving. Her boyfriend, Allen, was recently charged with Femicide and sentenced to prison, according to a Facebook post by Transue’s family.
