SPOKANE — Avista has confirmed that a previously unidentified “large load customer” seeking a massive amount of electricity from the utility is a data center development, according to KXLY.
The Spokane-based utility originally said it could not provide specifics about the project, which was disclosed in federal Securities and Exchange Commission filings in late May. In those filings, Avista referred to the entity only as a “large load customer.”
