Spokane, Wash. — Spokane City Council could create the Spokane Native Advisory as soon as tomorrow.
The proposal would give urban Indigenous residents a formal voice in Spokane city government. City information showed that 25,000 residents identified as American Indian or Alaskan Native and that many lived in urban parts of Spokane.
