Warm Start to the Week Followed by Cooler Weather and Rain in Eastern Washington and Idaho

The National Weather Service in Spokane has forecasted a warm start to the week, with Monday expected to be the warmest day. Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to low 70s, but gusty winds of up to 35 mph are expected in the Okanogan Valley.

By Tuesday, cooler weather will return, along with periods of rain over North Idaho and eastern Washington. Showers will persist through Wednesday, particularly in the Cascade Crest and Idaho Panhandle. Conditions may stay dry in central Washington for the rest of the week, though uncertainty remains about the weekend forecast.

Winds will shift to the west, becoming breezy across central and eastern Washington. Dry conditions are expected to return briefly later in the week.
