Spokane man pleads guilty eight years after brutal attack

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A man has pleaded guilty to a violent attack on his wife after beating her with a metal bar and cutting out her tongue eight years ago. According to the Spokesman-Review, Vladimir Pavlik, 68, admitted to first-degree assault and domestic violence, according to reporting partners at the Spokane County deputy prosecutor’s office.
