Northwest Autism Center hosting 11th annual ‘Steps for Autism’ 5K this weekend

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Northwest Autism Center will host its 11th annual Steps for Autism 5K Walk this weekend.

The walk will take place Saturday, April 25, at Riverfront Park, and aims to bring the community together under this year’s theme, “Community in Every Step.” The event begins at 10 a.m., with the 5K walk starting at noon from the Ice Age Playground.

Held during Autism Acceptance Month, the center says the event highlights the importance of building a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals and families experiencing life with autism.
