Spokane man sentenced in veteran identity theft fraud case

SPOKANE, Wash. — Federal prosecutors said a Spokane man was sentenced after a decades-long fraud scheme in which he used a Vietnam veteran’s identity to collect government benefits and services.

Raymond Kenneth Musgrove, 78, was sentenced on May 7 to 2 ½ years in federal prison.

The court also ordered three years of supervised release, $1,025,544.69 in restitution to the United States and a $1,100 special assessment…
