Spokane Junior Lilac Parade award recipients were announced

SPOKANE, Wash. — The only middle school marching band competition in the Inland Northwest, the Spokane Junior Lilac Parade, announced the award recipients Saturday.

The Junior Lilac Parade is a 73-year tradition, according to the Spokane Lilac Festival, which presented the junior parade. This year, over 60 units participated, with 14 marching bands.
