Thunderstorm With 65 MPH Wind Gusts Hitting 2 U.S. States Wednesday

A severe thunderstorm is heading for at least two U.S. states this Wednesday, May 12.

According to the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms are expected to impact portions of the High Plains this Wednesday afternoon. This storm could bring 60 MPH wind gusts to Pendleton, Oregon.

“Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” the National Weather Service said. “Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.”…
