New health clinic to expand rural healthcare access in Reardan

REARDAN, Wash. — Rural residents who currently drive miles to see a doctor will soon have expanded healthcare access as a new medical clinic takes shape in this small West Plains community.

The new facility, being constructed next to the existing health clinic in Reardan, will replace a small blue building that has served the town of approximately 700 residents but has outgrown its capacity.

“This space that we have has been here a long time, and we actually bought this used,” said Tyson Lacy, CEO of Lincoln Hospital, referring to the current clinic. “They can see anywhere between, probably about up to 20, 22, (a day) is really what it can do. They could see more if they had the space. If it was better laid out. The workflow is just not great for what this is.”…
