SPOKANE, Wash. — A man who shot into a Garland District bar will serve 22 months in prison after pleading guilty.
Gibson Riklon pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree assault and one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm May 11. The plea and sentencing stems from a February 2025 incident, where Riklon was sitting at a bar when the bartender noticed he had a gun. The bartender then told Riklon he would no longer be served and would need to put the firearm in his car. Riklon left and returned a few moments later, firing two shots into the bar at the employee, according to the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
