Residents displaced, 2 injured after house fire on East 33rd Avenue in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – Crews responded on Sunday evening to a house fire on East 33rd Avenue near Perry Street that left two people injured, according to the Spokane Fire Department (SFD).

Upon arrival, firefighters ensured the safety of a child and a man who were both injured. SFD officials reported that the child was transported to the hospital after sustaining burn injuries on his leg, while the man was evaluated for minor injuries at the scene.

Crews also reportedly rescued a dog from the fire and administered oxygen until the pet was able to run around and was medically cleared…
