Spokane to build first new park in 23 years in North Indian Trail neighborhood

SPOKANE, Wash. — A vacant piece of land in Spokane’s North Indian Trail neighborhood will transform into the city’s first new park in more than two decades.

It will be called Meadowglen Park, and the city says more than 2,800 homes near the neighborhood do not have access to a park within walking distance.
