- Heavy rain in the Houston area caused flooding in Montgomery County and other parts of the region, leading to high water on roads and a rescue operation on Southline Road near West Loop Road.
Tuesday was another day of downpours around the Houston area, dropping flooding rain on ground that was already saturated. It started in the early morning hours with rain falling offshore and along the coast. Lightning could be seen on our cameras out over the Gulf.
Later, strong storms popped up in north and northwest Harris County and in Montgomery County. It was in Montgomery County that we saw most of the flooding on Tuesday.
