A deadly crash on the South Beltway 8 shut down westbound main lanes of the tollway on Saturday morning, Harris County Constable Precinct 7 said.
At about 8 a.m., a van towing an arrow board failed to brake and struck the rear end of a box truck that was stopped behind a vehicle due to a lane closure, Pct. 7 said.
