After only three hours of deliberation, a Montgomery County jury on Thursday sentenced Miles Fridrich to life in prison for the 2023 stabbing death of Conroe pediatrician Talat Khan.
Fridrich, 26, will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
Fridrich pleaded guilty to murder on Friday in District Court in Conroe, and testimony in the punishment phase began Monday.
