GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — One person was found dead in their vehicle after flash flooding at a low-water bridge near Fair Grove carried it into the water on Sunday, June 14.
At approximately 4 a.m. Sunday, emergency crews recieved reports that a vehicle was swept off a bridge on State Highway CC.
According to Fair Grove FPD, the vehicle was trapped in a flooded roadway and was carried downstream. One of two people in the vehicle was able to get out, reach the shore and call 911 from a residence nearby…
