Springfield man sentenced for leading drug trafficking organization

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A federal court sentenced a man from Springfield on Tuesday for leading a drug trafficking conspiracy.

Keith L. Rayford, 52, was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison without parole for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and ecstasy after a prior drug felony conviction, according to the Department of Justice. He will also serve an additional five years in prison because he committed the offense while on supervised release from a previous federal drug trafficking conviction, for a total of 30 years in prison.
