Springfield resident discusses his journey through a clinical trial for Alzheimer’s Disease treatment

Bolivar, Mo. (KY3) – A Bolivar man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at 67 is praising a new treatment for keeping his memories alive. A doctor diagnosed Terry Webster with Alzheimer’s Dosease in 2019 at the age of 67.

“Alzheimer’s is a memory issue. I don’t know what I didn’t know. And there are things that I did know that I don’t know now,” said Webster. “My concern was down the road. Like from then till now, I was really concerned about what my status would be at this point. And so we talked about the progression and expectations.”

In 2021, Webster took part in a clinical trial at CMH in Bolivar, Missouri for a new Alzheimer’s treatment, called Kisunla; it’s what’s known as an anti-amyloid treatment…
