SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield Police Department (SPD) responded to a report of an assault that resulted in a juvenile being shot and the suspect in custody.
According to SPD, officers arrived at the scene located in the parking lot in the 1000 block of W. Norton Road, where a girl was found with a gunshot wound around 10 p.m.
She was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries…
