SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A Springfield family is searching for answers after their pet cat was found trapped in a metal animal trap just outside their backyard last week.
Karen Wesson said she heard faint cries coming from outside her home before discovering her cat, Halo, caught in the trap.
“I said, ‘Oh my God, that’s my cat.’ She was in that trap. She was skinny anyway, and the trap just came down on her,” Wesson said…
