SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Hundreds of residents are without power in south Springfield following severe thunderstorms Friday evening.
According to Springfield City Utilities’ outage map, around 2,700 residents are reporting outages as of 10 p.m.
Neighbors were out with chainsaws cleaning up downed trees that fell into yards and onto streets on South Roanoke Avenue and East Woodland Street.
