NIXA, Mo. — Two victims were rescued after Nixa crews said they were stranded on a rock island late Saturday, Aug. 15.
According to a social media post by Nixa Firefighters Local 152, the Nixa Fire Protection District’s Swiftwater Rescue Team worked with the Hurley Fire Protection District and the Nixa Police Department in the incident.
