Springfield woman says police issued ticket weeks after protest; questions investigation methods

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A Springfield protester says police are using drones and video to retroactively ticket demonstrators. Cindy Potts says it’s violating the constitutional rights of local citizens.

“Big brother is watching. That’s policing by AI. That’s policing retroactively,” she said.

Potts was one of hundreds who lined the streets of Springfield at the end of March for a ‘No Kings’ rally. She says she was surprised to receive a ticket in the mail weeks later for walking along the roadway…
