SPARTA, Mo. (KY3) – Three people were seriously burned early Sunday morning after someone reportedly poured gasoline or another flammable liquid onto a campfire.
The incident happened between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. in the 400 block of Sundance Drive in Sparta. Ozark Fire Protection District Chief Jarett Metheny said the call initially came in as a structure fire but changed to an outside fire while crews were en route.
