Flock Safety addresses concerns about its cameras in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Flock Safety cameras are once again coming under fire after tickets were issued after Springfield’s No Kings Rally last month. Some say the cameras were used to identify people accused of breaking the law.

The company behind the technology, Flock Safety, reached out to us to clear up how their cameras work. Spokesperson Holly Beilin says they focus on license plates, not people. But a local group, working to get the cameras out of Springfield, claims the technology violates a person’s right to privacy, and more.
