SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A semi hit a fire hydrant on Park Central Square in Springfield on Tuesday evening, sending water shooting into the air.
A witness said the semi caught his attention since it is not normal for semis to be on the square. A few minutes later, he heard a crash and then saw the water geyser at the southeast corner of the square.
City Utilities is working to fix the hydrant and get things moving normally on the square again. No damage to nearby businesses was reported…
