EDWARDSVILLE – Madison County authorities filed several charges against a Missouri man accused of attempting to burn down an Edwardsville business, burglarizing and damaging cars and buildings in the process.
Mark R. Ross, 38, of Springfield, Mo., was charged on April 28, 2026 with four counts of burglary (each Class 2 felonies), two counts of criminal damage to property (both Class 4 felonies), and one count each of aggravated intimidation (a Class 2 felony) and attempted arson (a Class 3 felony).
The day prior on April 27, 2026, Ross allegedly knowingly entered a building in the 5900 block of Red Bud Lane which was property of Schulte Supply with the intent to commit a felony or theft…
