Midwest theft suspect caught attempting to steal from two Walmarts in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A man who is said to be involved in thefts all over the Midwest has been accused of trying to steal electronics as a fake employee in Springfield.

According to online court dockets, Xavier Pasquinelly, born in 1999, of Maumee, Ohio, has been charged with stealing $750 or more and resisting arrest for a felony in Greene County Circuit Court.

The probable cause statement says Pasquinelly went to the Walmart at 2021 E. Independence Street around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, and walked over to the electronics department acting as a Spark employee…
