SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Roofing companies across southwest Missouri are facing a backlog of thousands of calls after last week’s catastrophic hailstorm left widespread damage across the region.
Absolute Roofing received thousands of calls the night the hailstorm hit last Tuesday, and the calls continue to come in. Some companies are backed up and may not be able to reach homeowners until next month.
“We’ve worked a lot of big storms. I would say we’re as prepared as anybody for a big hailstorm to come through, but we’ve never seen one quite like this,” said Colt Pruente, an estimator with Absolute Roofing.
