OZARK, Mo. — City leaders, community partners and residents gathered Wednesday to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the new Chadwick Flyer Bridge over Highway 65 — a long-awaited milestone in a multi-year effort to expand trail connectivity in Ozark.
The bridge is part of the larger Chadwick Flyer Trail project, which reimagines the path of a historic rail corridor into a recreational space designed to connect communities and promote outdoor activity.
“This project is about the history of the Chadwick Flyer corridor,” Ozark Mayor Don Currence said during opening remarks. “It’s so exciting — new opportunities for recreation, wellness, just connectivity between our city and other cities in this area.”…
