In the race for House District 38 (representing Akiachak, Akiak, Atmautluak, Bethel, Chefornak, Chevak, Eek, Kasigluk, Kipnuk, Kongiganak, Kwethluk, Kwigillingok, Mekoryuk, Napakiak, Napaskiak, Newtok, Nightmute, Nunapitchuk, Oscarville, Quinhagak, Toksook Bay, Tuluksak, Tuntutuliak, and Tununak), newcomer Nellie Unangik Jimmie (D) of Toksook Bay won 44.06% of the votes. Incumbent Conrad “CJ” McCormick of Bethel (D) received 27.93%, Willy Keppel of Quinhagak (Registered Veterans of Alaska) had 20.58%, and Victoria Sosa of Bethel (D) received 7.43%.
