SEDONA, AZ (AZFamily) — Firefighters called in extra crews Sunday morning to conduct an “excessive amount” of water rescues as rapidly rising floodwaters trapped people inside their homes and forced evacuations along Oak Creek.
According to the Sedona Fire District, evacuations primarily impact neighborhoods on the city’s east side within Zones 8, 9, and 10.
