SACRAMENTO, Calif. – An old bus was parked at the state Capitol on Monday to honor Rosa Parks. In 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man and move to the back of the bus. This started the 381-day boycott of the bus system by African Americans.
