Colorado’s election office on Wednesday night told county officials they will need to review some ballots by hand following an error in which 800,000 voters received ballots with a sales tax hike question they shouldn’t be asked.
Sorting out the bulk of the ballots erroneously sent, however, should be fairly straightforward, the state’s director of elections said in a letter to the clerks of Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas and Weld counties.
And no — those won’t involve a hand count…
