DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) – Most of the rain has moved out this evening, but there are a few, lingering, light showers. Temperatures hang on to the middle 60s tonight. Friday may start dry, but we’ll have at least one if not two round of rain. The first could start mind morning with a decaying group of storms bringing some gusty winds and moderate to heavy rain. Another batch of rain is expected in the late afternoon and evening. This round will likely be heavy with an inch of rain likely for many in SE Alabama. SW Georgia folks may miss out on most of the heavy rain Friday, but they still have a decent chances for showers in general. Highs top out in the middle 70s for those that don’t get the first potential round of rain. Upper 60s to low 70s for those that do get the first potential round of showers.
