Making its last appearance over a week ago, the sun will appear from between the clouds once the fog lifts late Monday Morning across areas west/northwest of the Illinois River. It will be a brief 5 hours of sunshine before clouds fill back in from the northwest as another weak system travels down the northwesterly flow in the upper atmosphere to bring less than 1/10″ of rain/drizzle into early Tuesday Morning. A nice warming trend takes over after clouds clear on Wednesday Morning to bring a mild day on Thursday as well. Friday is still undecided as cooler air from the northeast may retrograde into the area sooner than expected nor wanted to possibly bring clouds to the first part of Friday. Coming up, expect a cool, but still above normal weekend compared to normal.
